Peoria County has the highest average annual wage increase of all large U.S. Counties. The Bureau Of Labor Statistics says the average weekly wage increased nearly 19-percent in Peoria County from March of 2010 to March this year. The average weekly wage among the largest U.S. Counties went up more than five-percent. The report says professional and business services had the largest impact on Peoria County’s increase.
