The Ballet is presenting their annual production of "The Nutcracker," next weekend, with two performances at the Peoria Civic Center Theatre. This year's production is notable for the return of a live orchestral accompaniment, under the baton of David Commanday. The production will also feature cameo appearances by notable local personalities. and the inclusion of several younger performers. Also this weekend, the Peoria Pops Orchestra presents their annual holiday concert. And Corn Stock Theatre is presenting a "concert reading" of Charles Dickens' classic "A Christmas Carol."
