The Village of Dunlap has doubled its geographic size in the last year and is looking to triple its land mass in the near future.  Dunlap officials have pre-annexed a wide-swath of territory between its Village boundaries and the City of Peoria.  The move has the potential to change Peoria’s long-term growth strategy.  WCBU’s Alex Rusciano reports it also has area planning officials questioning Dunlap’s intentions:
